Great show!

The beginning was great. I liked the Maori welcome at the start. They led us to the entrance which was very well done. They did great singing. During the show we were taken to four different parts of the museum. I liked this different style compared to regular theatre.

The first scene was interesting. They were having little scenes from New Zealand history from ideas such as the beginning of the port to the All Blacks. The actors got changed really fast. It was well done and planned out well, the acting was fantastic. There wasn't a lot of lighting in the first part which didn't really matter as it was fine without it. There was a fair bit of running around done by the actors in the performance. They really made you apart of it. It was fantastic.

The second scene was on the Wahine disaster. There was far less movement than the first one but they did a really good job at keeping it interesting without much movement. Although I didn't understand one part which a lady was slowly spinning in a circle doing funny movements, it must have been hard to do, but I don't get why? There was good lighting, it was in time with everything that happened. Overall it was an interesting experience.

The third scene part was a bit more on World War one and two. One character, a really funny tramp, did well on her own and made us really involved in the show. There was also a guy talking about how he was going overseas for the war. It was a real show.

The last scene was funny, I didn't get some of it but there was really good acting and funny photographer that was taking photos of everyone. This show was a bit different to the others in that you felt more like you were watching than actually being there.

A great show. I would recommend it to everyone above the ages of 12+. It was a great idea taking us around the museum. The time absolutely flew.
