The Tour

The Y&H Tour (formerly EnsembleImpact National Schools Tour; A Country of Two Halves, OUTLIERS) is back with a 50-minute bare bones programme of NZ Theatre that comes direct to your drama room or auditorium.

Performed in traverse (audience on the two long sides with a performance space of 9m by 5m preferred) by four young professional actors, the show requires no lighting or sound set up. It is ideally suited to Drama students in years 10-13, to a maximum audience of 150 and has a Q&A built into the programme. A FREE extension of the Q&A for up to 15 minutes can be arranged at time of booking. Touring 30 April – 21 June, 2019.

The Theme

Directed by Nancy Brunning, I AM MĀORI showcases extracts from plays by Māori playwrights.

The programme will touch on topics such as family issues, politics and land rights, with a common thread being ordinary people doing extraordinary things to change their world, no matter who they are or their background. It is the connection to their culture that gives them great strength to fight their battles and find the hero within.
